StatsThread Ltd produces basketball analysis and highlights from footage that clubs provide. This page sets out what personal data we collect through this website, what we process on behalf of clubs, how long we keep it, and how to make a request.

Who we are

StatsThread Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. For anything relating to your data, email ac7@statsthread.co.uk.

What this website collects

This site has no accounts, no contact forms and no advertising or analytics cookies. If you email us, we hold your name, email address and what you wrote for as long as we need to reply and, if you become a client, for the length of our work together. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security, and deletes them on its normal schedule.

What we process for clubs

When a club works with us, it supplies match footage and basic squad information such as player names and shirt numbers. From that footage we produce statistics, clips and highlights. The club remains the controller of its footage and its players' data. We process it only to deliver the service the club has asked for, under our agreement with that club, and we do not use it for any other purpose.

Footage involving anyone under 18 is processed only where the club confirms it holds the necessary parental consent, and is never used in any public material.

We rely on contract as our lawful basis for delivering the service, and on legitimate interests for responding to enquiries and keeping the service secure.

How long we keep it

After those periods the material is deleted. A club can ask us to delete its footage and derived material earlier at any time, and we will.

Who we share it with

We do not sell data. We use hosting and storage providers to run the service, under contracts that limit them to acting on our instructions. Nothing is published or shared beyond the club without the club's consent.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how it is used. Email ac7@statsthread.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
